What a wonderful trip down memory lane reading this thread has been.
I'd like to add Keith Scott who as someone has already mentioned played alongside Adrian Whitbread in our premier league season. No wonder we got relegated.

Surprised no one's mentioned Darren Bullock yet. That was money well spent.
Loan signings, Colin Heath must be up there...

Keith Scott at least scored some Premier League goals.
With that said, I remember standing on the Stratton Bank sometime towards the end of the Premier league season. Scott jumped for a high ball, mistimed it completely and ended up on his arse. An old bloke next to me chuckled and said "ol' Scotty. He's bollocks, isn't he?"

As loans go:- Dominic Foley (Wolves), I can remember him scoring a glorious chip in his first game for us and that was it for the next 6 games.

You mention David Peach, but what about Andy Rollings. Signed from Brighton the season after we signed Peach, along with Colin Barrett from Forest (another disaster), All from at the time League 1 clubs, these three were meant to shore up our leaky defence. Instead they helped us leak more goals
Anyone remeber Rollings own goal at Chester; headed a long punt forward over the advancing Jimmy Allan into the back of the net.
Biggest cheer was when he was sent off, and that was from Town fans.

Keith Scott tried hard - just wasn't Premier League class. We didn't have many players that season that were, unfortunately. Anyway, Scott goes down in STFC history as the man who scored the goal that gave us our first ever top flight win. It's just a shame we had to wait until late November for it.

Darren Bullock - I'd forgotten him - a proper psycho
Colin Barrett - agree with him, utter bollocks.
But I'll always fondly remember Keith Scott scoring at Anfield - one of my favourite games in the PL

Anyone remember our famous Scottish international goalkeeper Frank Haffey? What a fantastic signing by Bert Head that was.

Ha Bullock is a Worcester lad and lived down the road from me he is a proper head case , I think he is manager of one of the local Sunday league teams now.
