http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17996534Owners considering changing their colour from blue to red as well as other things. Cant say I'd be happy about it at all if someone came in and tried to change the colour of our kit.

The ole slippery slope. Wont be long till we have sponsors in the team name like that god-awful bastard of a club in Austria.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17996534How would you feel if we had the opportunity to have millions more invested in to the club infrastucture and squad, but we had to change from red to blue and change our nickname to something new? Personally the nickname change wouldn't bother me as we share it with a few other teams. I would prefer to have something unique anyway. The colour change would be more of an issue, but if we were to see investment that could put us back in the premiership again I think I would be willing to sacrafise the colour change. Interested to see what others think. Im guessing most would rather keep the red after the uproar at Wembley two years ago?

Just realised you have started this too. Surely a chance to play in the premiership again is worth it. I would rather get to see us in the premiership again but in a different colour than never see us play in the premiership.

Sell the soul and history of a football club down the river for the Premiership, with no guarantees you would stay there.
I cant say im that keen on the idea.

I'd be a bit pissed off to be honest. I'm not sure Swindon's Asian fanbase exists much past BR and CR, and frankly BR can fuck off!
Seriously, its the reason for doing it in that report that seems a little weak. It doesn't really suggest a reason other than the owner seeing red as being "more dynamic". Oh and Wrexham are the Dragons.

That's an obese red squirrel, not a groundhog. Same face.

Madness. Swindon should wear red. End of.

Google isn't my friend. Unless you've got something against the groundhog community?

Our kit has changed in colour over the years. I wouldn't change the name of Swindon, but im not really that fussed what colour we play in. But I know others are very protective. Im just saying I would choose premiership football over wearing red. But then I would change my surname to Oxford if I could marry Pixie Lott.

'While the shirts and club badge could change colour, Cardiff City sources categorically deny that the club - whose nickname is "the Bluebirds" - will become known as "the 'Red Dragons''.'
Note to the Malaysian investors: nicknames just happen. You don't get to choose them. Idiots.
Reminds me of the time Paul Ince moved to Liverpool from Inter and suggested his new team mates all call him 'The Guv'nor'.
Timing also could have been a little better. Talk about kicking a set of fans when they're down. I almost feel sorry for them.

Id change my first name to Oxford if i could marry Pixie Lott. However, I wouldnt change our kit to play in the PL. In my opinion, we should always wear red and that should never change
