Decent enough, cheap backup... I'd keep him, but if McEveley got a proper long term injury I'd dip into the loan market

Nice thought but Ridehalgh isn't going to come just to be a back up.

Kennedy would do just fine.

Not entirely convinced by Kennedy if i'm honest. He seems to be very average most of the time with a few very good performances to make you think that something is there. He has put in some brilliant performances such as Huddersfield at home & some woeful one's, Crewe away springs to mind. I want him to be good, but a distinctly average L2 left-back in my opinion, weak and constantly hoofs the ball and to be honest I cant really think of any one area he excels in.

Not knocking the guy totally, fair play to him for coming through the system and playing a fair few games, but IMO is the worst of our three left backs and would struggle with the step up. Not against having him as back up though as long as he remains on his current wages, or relatively low wages.

Keep all 3 and sign Ridehalgh too, perhaps sign Jamie Vincent for cover just in case all 4 get injured. You can never have too many left backs.
