If, as I hope, that we sign McEveley he will be first choice at left back.
That would mean that either Kennedy or Cibbo would be the back-up.
Interesting that Cibbo wasn't at the CG yesterday and now we get this story.
Wonder if it's a coincidence?

I'd be very surprised if he's still here next season, even as a squad player.

We dont need 3 left-backs so if Mc is signing we dont need Kennedy.
I'd rather we kept Kennedy as understudy but some of the contracts are a pain. Easy to say in hindsight but too many 2 year deals given out last summer. Stuck with a lot of dross.

Cibbo wont play again for a long time.
We'll need a third left back.

Not bothered to be honest if he stays or goes. Has progressed but not enough to be a major player. Wages won't be high but i think the board aint afraid to splash the cash.

As much as I like Kennedy, Cibo is a better option in my opinion.

The big "if" here has to be Cibo's injury. If he's going to be injured into next season, Kennedy might well be a good option as cover. However, if Cibo is going to be fit for the start of the season, do we need double cover?

Looking at his injury record i wouldn't want to risk cibo as our only cover tbh.

Kennedy was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Looked very good against Huddersfield, less good in other games.
If he was 19-20 I think we'd keep him. At 23 its less clear cut. Good point from DRS though.
