At the Port Vale game listening to all the Swindon fans who died during the season for me was quite emotional.
Having suffered a serious illness this year I suppose I could have easily been notched to that list, but here I am up and running.

Today I found out, a buddy I use to stand/sit with for many years has gone, puts everything into perspective, just feel totally down, he was always fit and trained a lot, didn't smoke and just drank in moderation.

Life is such a bitch ...

Let's hope PdC and the team put a smile on your face this season and helped you recover rude health.

Long may it continue.

May sound strange, but one of things I dread most is shuffling off mid-season without knowing how the season would pan out. Mind you, last season it may have been a relief!!

Sorry to hear that Dell.....things have been a little gloomy this year....my dad is very unwell and a close family friend has a serious illness.
On top of that my good wife has been unwell this year and yes it drags you down for sure.

When you are not used to such events it comes as a hard smack around the face in learning how to deal with it.

I had a tear in my eye as they were read out, especially as I knew a couple of them.  A lad a couple of years younger from my school had only died the day before following an accident a few days earlier.

I couldn't help but wonder if they were all looking down and cheering the Town on with the rest us of us?

Sorry for your loss Dell.

It's no consolation I know, but my uncle Ken (god bless him) is the reason I'm Swindon and he died in the last year we got promoted from this division. You've just reminded me about Port Vale at home in '83 and uncle Ken. God bless you and yours...
