I remember watching it live on TV. That poor bloke who walked on the pitch with his back on fire will haunt me forever.

I've not seen the footage since I saw it live when I was 9.

Truly shocking - and the images are exactly as I remembered.

I remember at the time how it really frightened me that a fire could spread so fast. You'd think you'd have plenty of time to get out - but this shows otherwise.

Yes- the poor chap on fire made me cry all those years ago - I always wondered whether he survived.
