I was impressed with how quick the pitch emptied after the invasion.
Organised chaos.
Yeah, it seemed odd.
Wray was asked about it on the radio and just said the most natural gut re-action is usually the right one.
The minutes silence obviously turned into a minutes applause. He said after he mentioned Mama and Papa Di Canio - everyone just broke out into spontaneous applause - so was the right thing to do.
Said the same about the pitch invasion, we won people did it, celebrated because that was their gut re-action. Stewards and Police didnt have the drag them off - they all made their own way off and we got the trophy.
One thing, I didnt get....and found a bit odd - the final whistle went and people got on the pitch. Wes looked like a rugby player sprinting to the tunnel and dodging all the fans. Then the lap of honour (certainly along the drs) was all done about 10ft away from the fans and then when the second pitch invasion happened, again the players sprinted for the tunnel like we were an angry mob trying to kill them.
Would it have done any harm to anyone to have let the players and fans celebrate together on the pitch for a few minutes at least?
