Would you like someone to tie your shoe laces and button your coat too?

Man Up the only acceptable form of protection is a clear poncho.

No. It'll drip on other people and they'll call you a cunt.

Getting soaked on the Bank is a rite of passage...or at least it used to be.  Remember nearly dissolving once when played Watford.  David James was in goal for them.  Might have been this game.

Seems to be dispersing a bit. Might be dry for kick off.

I feel 'validated' as a man now, having said the same thing to the missus 30 minutes before reading this, while digging out my previously unused clear poncho :-)

A dry cunt though. Actually maybe a damp one. I'll get my coat.

The clothing of choice for your old skool hardcore Bankite, on a dirty day, was the yellow oilskin bike cape and leggings. Was always a source of wonder to me, in the days when you could still walk around all the CG wraparound terrace, that even when pissing it down, there'd be fellas on the Bank in their capes, rather than walk around under the Shrivenham Road roof.

These blokes of course, had often cycled to the match from the Works, and left their bikes around the back of the Bank...no rain got through a decent cape and leggings.

Just whack the Barbour on. Can't beat a good waxed jacket on a drizzly day.

Would you be allowed an umbrella? Wouldn't they take it away in case you start a riot or something?

Either way, I vote for manning up and getting wet. You won't care if they win and if they lose it'll match the mood!
