Can anyone remember what the attendance was for Wigan? Im still unsure as to what the ground holds these days, but I remember being suprised at the attendance thinking it should have been more, Im sure the club said around the time they expected 14,500. Wigan werent many short of theor allocation. Although I know we have lost some seats to segregation. Hopefully they will take all the netting off the bank on Sat and sell every seat.
The OS site says the attendance for Wigan was 13,935, but I'm sure it was less than that. The OS for Wigan says the same. I'm sure that has changed? The BBC site says it was 10,488. Various other sites say 13,238.
Would love to know how they get these various figures and what the ground actually holds.
It was originally given as 13200 but the actual figure (after a recount?) was 13900. With only 500 Wigan fans in attendance, the ground capacity must be 14500.

Has a quick scan on the net again to have a look what's available. The bank still isn't selling very well but before long there will only be single tickets, twos and threes left in the rest of the ground, so anyone wishing to take bigger groups will have to go on the bank.

Club have just tweeted asking fans to stay off pitch at the end so players can have a lap of honour .... Urgh .... So no trophy presentation then?

I'd be massively surprised if the Football League would deny us lifting it at home.

Can't see why not, no-one else can win it Saturday, can't they have it prepared just in case?

It's presumptuous for the club to announce that the presentation will happen when Shrewsbury are still in the race. Wray said in an interview (on the BBC Football site) that he didn't know what was going on but hoped that the trophy would be nearby.

Well, i guess maybe the lap of honour is the bare minimum, so they are just legislating for that... an empty pitch works for this and trophy presentations - maybe they don't want to get ahead of themselves. I can't believe they would make us lift the trophy at Bradford if we beat Port Vale on Saturday, there'd be uproar.

I hadnt heard that Wray interview, but I would hope that is the case. Also mentions a minutes silence on Saturday after the roll of honour ... Who's the silence in honour of?
