Not sure if this has been covered before, but who remembers these?
I used to collect these as a kid and my youngest has been badgering me for ages to buy the Euro 2012 book and some stickers. Being the wrong side of 40 I have resisted until today when I found myself in the Havelock Street newsagents and paid £1.99 for the album and then spunked another fiver on 10 packs of stickers.
The kids face when I got home and showed her the album and stickers was ace so we sat straight down and started sticking.
It was fucking brilliant and bought back many memories of Spain 82 and fighting in the playground over "swapsies" and "got, got, need, got".

I am going back tomorrow to buy a load more packs. I might even cheat and go online and buy a whole box!!

Is anybody else collecting these?

Kids who used to get their dads to buy an entire box pissed me off. I wouldn't do swaps with them even if I really needed a sticker they had.

I always had to buy my own as the old man was a right tight cunt (still is) and it took me fucking ages to complete Spain 82. We used to go through the rich kids pockets and bags and steal what we needed.

I think Ferndale junior school banned them in the end.

I was bought them very rarely (I had to earn them), but I had spoilt mates who used to come to school with 4" piles of swaps and do things like stick them to windows rather than give them to people in need or swap them. It's one of the reasons why I like to kill people.

Ha Ha, I remember when they came out with the Planet of the Apes stickers and a mate of mine, who had lots of money, completed his book in 2 hours
