To top off a not so very great weekend (Crawley game excluded) I've just had a visit from the police.

Pissed off, so can't be arsed to go into detail.

1996 - 18 month ban for drink driving (stupid I know)
1997 - Nicked at 126mph (they sent the court summons to the wrong address, caught up with me and extended the dd ban,
1993 - 3 x drugs charges (well documented on here in previous posts - lucky to get off with just probation)

And now Mr French Cunt from Friday has found himself a 'witness'. Some woman from Haywards Heath who stopped after it happened.
Apparently, according to the rozzers, I'm looking at 'a bit of a stretch inside'! For fucks sake! How the hell does that work!!

Anyone on here who's met me, I'd hope would confirm I'm an alright kind of bloke. (Mex excluded as I'm obviously a cunt)

1st advice mate. Dont listen to the police. It is their idea of a joke to make people panic. Its all a game to them.

Get some proper advice. Solicitors are expensive but they are worth their weight in gold. If you rely on the duty solicitor they take the piss. If you have your own they take your case seriously.

The only serious crime on your record is the drugs charges which are over 10 years ago, the other driving bans are also nearly ten years old now. It's a fucking joke!

That's fucking ludicrous!  The driver is at fault as he has pulled out in front of you.  Simple as.  Why the fuck to meddling cunts like this woman get involved?  Do they have nothing better to do?  Speeding or not someone should not pull out in front of you.  End of.  Hope it sorts itself out.  Try discrediting the witness - maybe she has a history of alcoholism or summat

Looking at your rap sheet there Sussex I think a couple of you past charges may be covered under the rehabilitation of offenders act and been wiped clean.

5 years - Gone, although I think it sticks on your license for 11 years.  Not sure if that can or cannot be taken into any account.

Again 5 years so it should now be gone.

Again I think that's 5 years as well so you should be completely clean and past offences can't be taken into account in court.

Get yourself a decent brief and go through the events with a fine tooth comb.  

Start asking questions and check out all the facts.

Why didn't you see the woman stop?
What time did she claim to have been there?
Did you report the incident, if not what reason?

I wouldn't stress to much until you have spoken to a legal eagle.  Sounds like bollocks about a strech and is a bit of a wind up.
