On the subject of shit journos (didn't want to start a new thread)
@danwalkerbbc Perspective? It's not fucking perspective in the slightest is it Dan? You utter tool.
How so? Seems a reasonable point to me. Given the wage cap is revenue-based, I'd imagine we've probably spent more than Crawley haven't we as we actually have a fanbase rather than one man and his dog and a couple of thousand bandwaggoners? But people haven't, by and large, had a go at us for the money we've spent in the way they have Crawley. Which is all the bloke's saying, isn't he? (Awaits spuming tide of vitriol for daring to suggest journo may have a point)

Dan Walker tweeted praise for Steve Evans once stating "football needs more like him" (or something similar) therefore he is by nature an imbecile

More convicted fraudsters? Well, there's plenty of bent frauds involved in football, so I suppose if he meant more of them should be convicted, I'd be inclined to agree. But I suspect he didn't, so yeah, fair enough. #perspective indeed.

On a similar basis is it just me but do the BBC (and fivelive particularly) seem to be desparate for Man U to win the title and City to ballls it up! On the BBC website the otherday 3 of the first 7 headline stories were from Utd souces saying how City were going to blow it, and the phone in this AM that apparently Balotelli has cost them the title was just odd!
I know the BBC have moved to Salford and thus utd are now their local team, but i don't remember then adopting this local news approach with QPR when they were in Sheperds bush!

Crawley are not criticised so much for spending money, they are criticised for spending money that they don't have. We have the revenues to justify it, they don't. He's hardly putting things into perspective at all, we just happen to be a big fish in a small pond.

Crawley have deffo lived above their means which is why they have sold players and Evans has fucked off,but we have been there and done it previously. We have also thrown alot of money at this campaign which we coudn't have without the boards backing.

Fact is he is a manager unproven....winning things at Stamford,Boston and Crawley dont make you the Messiah.
Fuck me wasn't it him who took Boston out of the league in the first place.

Let's face it every story on the BBC site is PL related, top right hand corner click "League and Competitions" select League Two and you might think you're avoiding it but you're not, there's links to poxy PL stuff on our pages as well And no Balotelli has not cost them the title, their inability to grind out a result when not playing well has, nothing to do with Balotelli, he didn't get sent off till the 89th min yesterday
