Strange to make the sub before half time.

He usually waits until a couple of mins after, which is also very odd

Rooneys name has been mentioned plenty of times and sounded like he was having a good ish game.

i don't understand sometimes

how many players have we signed that weren't as good as originally thought?

how many unenforced first half substitutions have we made this season?

how many bits in a kilobyte?

Hope you're not being critical-thats not allowed!

Gary Rose ‏ @STGary_Rose Close
40 - Rooney replaced by Holmes, not surprising really Rooney's passing has been poor

Maybe Cox isn't putting in the effort in training. He looks easily capable of playing for us.

To be honest he looked OK when he played, but not any better than what we already have

Or he is injured.

True, by this stage in the season there are a number of players carrying niggly injuries.

I did wonder about Wes on Tues, as otherwise it did seem a bit odd that Phil Smith was on the bench.

Pleased it's 0-0 at HT. We could quite easily be a couple down by the sounds of it.

Sounds like a bit of a scrappy game with no real flow or creativity. We need to make use of Holmes going forward in the second half as it doesn't sound like we've created much at all.

Funny comments a few minutes ago on BBC Radio Five.  Commentator reporting from Reading vs Leeds game not quite being able to believe that the fans of a club pushing for automatic promotion to the Prem could generate so little in the way of atmosphere.  'Not exactly a cauldron here, is it?'
