I can see why you wanted to defect. Being a season ticket holder, pro king and an optimist are all frowned upon in those parts but welcome here.

Anyone's welcome on here chap (bar one or two individuals, and we all know who they are), despite what's been mentioned by a few new members before, it's really not the cliquey forum it apparently comes across as being. Get posting chap

I am new to this site too, I have defected from from my missus and children, to use my new pc to talk about football and look at porn on the net when everyones out!
I sit in the akrells just behind the dugouts, I dont know why but it's just the spot I've always loved, having sat everywhere at the GC over the years.
I love king at the moment due to the good signings and hope this does not change when we get 10 games in to the season!

However much you try there will never be as much bollocks on here as the STFC Fanny Forum. That has been the undisputed champion of Swindon bollocks talking for quite some time now. Its got so much bollocks on there even I cant be bothered to look at it, and I know half of them.
Townfish once told me the STFC Fanny forum was the 4th most searched site on the internet. I had to break it to him that was because the site included the word FANNY.
I havnt bothered with it for years. But the match reports from 2000-02 are well worth a look. In fact some of them are ace.

Wellcome, I have been following Swindon, since Summerbee was playing for them,...................that would be Mike, not Nicky. I used to be on the Adver forum, but many of the luminaries drifted over here.
I am pro King, mainly because he is refreshingly honest, and sometimes comes out with priceless political incorectness, most of which wouldn't have raised an eyebrow in the seventies, where he seems to be stuck with references to such items as Bob Latchford and discos. Also, I remember him as a player. He was a royal pain to the opposition. He was a hard worker in midfield, quite skillful, and would be very opportunistic in front of goal. You could see that he actually enjoyed playing. He also got fired for refusing to sign Rudduck.
