Slightly worried about his comments recently, not just this article but this one too. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17432968The comment at the bottom of the article is pretty clear. “I have after this year another year and I want to win, then we will see what is going on, but stay together because everything that happens between now and the end of the season counts towards my decision.”

He is a human being! He has achived miracles here in one season, yet still people boo his decisions and/or his players. league 1 will be a bigger challenge. It will not go all our own way, and there will be reverses, but if the crowd begin to get at him at every little mishap or challenge his professional decision on substitutions on a regular basis, then it will get under his sking, and disrupt the players. It's perfectly acceptable (I think) for him to make his views known now while things are going swimmingly well. And its up to us to shut the boo boys up....drown them out every time with 'we are Paolo's red and white army'. He has said what it means to hear his name chanted, and the vast majority of us love him and what he has done...let's make sure he knows it.

Its not clear though is it. He could be talking about promotion, season ticket sales, fans booing, boardroom financing or all of them. Sounds like he intends to see out his contract though, then he'll decide about a new one..or not.

True.
Let's hope he does see out his contract and even extend it, personally I think he'll be here at the end of next season unless something really pisses him off.

Two points on this: Ed Hadwin was saying this morning that talks have opened about extending his contract and I think the booing at the substitution of Connell was a sign of frustration that Murray was being left on. I thought Murray was very weak on Saturday, easily pushed off the ball and his workrate is not as good as Connells. They were also talking on the radio about booing at the final whistle, well I certainly did not hear any booing directed at the team or manager.

Some of our fans really are fucking retards.
How anyone can boo after the season we have had astounds me.

Agree completely Langers.
Think Paolo needs to give it some of this at the next home game

I wouldn't be surprised if he did something like that, and I wouldn't blame him.

Agree completely, but it was always on the cards that the negative element in the fan base would piss Paolo off at some point. To be fair he's been quite polite in his response, hopefully it has the desired effect but I'm not holding my breath to be honest.

I agree 100% but some of our fans and even some of the fans on this forum wouldn't agree with that. I do still very much hope it doesn't turn Paolo against the vast majority (probably 99%) of our fans who would never boo this team.

Let us hope he doesn't read the Thisis site then!! Those of us that stayed behind to applaud the team and PdC would have been very amused how he wound the Slavetraders fans up!!

The reaction on Saturday was completely unacceptable. I'm still really pissed off about it to be honest. Didn't hear any booing at the end though!

Paolo has been a fan before being a player or manager.
Every club has fans that boo at stupid times. Ffs look at the west ham fans and their treatment of big sam.
It doesn't make the fan viewpoint correct, but it is the same at most clubs.
Hopefully that is the end of it for us from herein. I must admit I did grumble to all around that he took the wrong player off mind.

This is what I was worried about, on the whole our fans are brilliant and I don't want Paolo thinking that because a few morons are booing, that everyone feels the same.
