Vital football are reporting that he is unlikely to ever play again for us after falling out with DiCanio about the training regime.

Hopefully we can terminate the loan and send him back to Orient rather than pay his wages for the rest of the season.

Sounds like someone who would have fit in perfectly with last season's wasters.

I heard about this at Wembley so think it happened a while ago
Apparently Orient are refusing to have him back so we are stuck with him

Good on them.

I thought after Clarke we were going to do proper interviews with players to make them aware of how tough the training regime is at the club? Seem to be making the same old mistakes which must be costing the club a fortune.

I'll probably get a bollocking for saying this but .....

As successful as this season has been, the recruitment policy has been a bit of mess!

Weather it was Atiku, Clarke, Abdulla or numerous others on loan or permanantly they have probably cost us a small fortune.

Paolo/Jez Wray need to look into putting recruits through a more stringent set of tests.  For players to arrive here and then say the training is to hard beggers belief! I think it was in the radio interview yesterday where Paolo said Tehoue wasnt as good technically as he had thought ....... Surely he would have seen numerous videos of the player or scouting reports etc.

You are right, our recruiting has been a right mess. Remember that PDC wanted to buy Murray in January, 3 months on he has been sent back.

Someone told me that PDC has been in meetings all week with the board saying that he wants 10 new players in by the start of next season. He has been told that 8 players need to go in order for that to happen. Let's hope for our sake that the selection process tightens up a bit before we decide who we are signing

The thing is it isnt going to be easy to shift a lot of players out ..... The ones who came on perms at the start of the year such as Esajas and Gabilondo probably signed 2 year deals on decent wages.  Now if no one matches those then they could bide there time here and pick us some easy money.

The ten figure in, to compete at the higher end of league 1 is probably about right .... However based on this year ... How many players will Paolo need to sign to find those 10?

I would rather Paolo went out in the summer and signed a strong core of 10 and stuck with them, using the loan market to dip into as and when required.  Most of the loans this year have been pants .....  This is best illustrated by the signings of Bostock and McEvily, where it looks like we have gone into the market for the hell of it.  Neither on there showings thus far seeming to be any better than the permanent players we already have at our disposal.

Fucking hell.

Bostock and McEvely have barely played. They've been here less than 2 weeks.

Someone told me Di Canio blah blah blah must be true.

Only 2 weeks ago most were sure our players were good enough for L1. A week without a win and all of a sudden they are all shit, we need to replace them all and no ones good enough. All we are missing is Bart to show up.

Maybe a bit harsh on Bostock.  I think McEvily is no better or worse than Cibo .... Some will agree some will disagree ...

However I stand by my point over the holes in our recruitment policy I think need tightening up!
