Somalian I thought

I am pretty sure he was coached as a young lad for Celtic and has played in the victory shield matches for the Scots.

He is Scottish isn't he?
He is indeed. The only reason I watched the game! Some very good players on show all around though.

Did a lad called John Swift play last night? Centre mid, long hair with headband.
Was player of the tournament at the milk cup in 2010 and was different class. Should a be a first year scholar now

Yeah, he was excellent.

Thought he would probably play. Fantastic talent and was 15 when i saw him play. Looked to have an age on the ball and did everything superbly, scored goals, distribution top notch and always available to recieve the ball. If he doesn't make pro then i'd be bloody surprised.

I'd take him back this season if we could.

Swifty that is, not Arriba. (although obviously i miss Arriba too)

I recall playing against Adi Vivash over at Dorcan while he was with Town - possible just prior to getting into the first team. Big lad, and a nice bloke, but fucking shocking as a footballer.

Last time I saw him at Dorcan he was wiping blood off his face and spitting splinters of teeth out of his mouth. Him and his mates from Bassett thought they were the boys, but a few of them came off worse when they mixed it up with a psycho in our team that truly didn't give a fuck and battered them after a nasty tackle went in.

Wonderful days :-)

I'm sure in his second spell with us there was a back three of Reeves, Heywood, Viveash for a game. Lightening! He didn't have his best days for us - certainly saw a fair bit of success (as captain?) at the Madjeski.

Cant argue with you on that Friggers as he did achieve success elsewhere.

A fine line between making it as a professional at that level and playing Sunday league.

Hats off if he's part of Jose's back-room team now.

Probably earns enough to have his teeth sorted out anyway.

I remember that game, we lost 3-0 at Saltergate & Andy King said those 3 would never play together again!! Might have been the same game that Sebastian Ruster made his Town debut!!

And I believe after that game, Kingy said they'd never play together again.

...and we made it to the Play-Offs.

A sound decision.
