Anyone got one working with the printer connected to a pc(probably hard wired) . Tis not for me, but a little jobby I have to do Saturday

From a bit of Googling you need an Airprint enabled printer, Apple really are con artists aren't they

There are a couple of work arounds by the look of it, but what works for you?
I don't want to be stuck there all day, I'd like to be back in time for the live match thread

Probably cheaper just to buy a wireless hp printer for 89 squid than spend hours trying to hack something together

If he's got an HP printer I'm pretty sure there is a piece of software that allows printing through a linked PC

Failing that theres and app called print and share which should cover what he needs (albeit in a slightly  clunky way compared to airprint)

Apparently it's an HP 5515 which is Airprint compatible. Airprint wtf

Still don't reckon I'll be home in time for Sir's match day thread as it's in Dorchester

No problems connecting the iPads to the printer, so can recommend the HP 5515 if anyone needs a wireless printer to use with iPads. That was the easy bit

Installed router on his new business connection, turns out there's a fault on the line  Crash

Rebooted the new PC a few times, after which it then failed to find the HDD and refused to boot, got to go back to manufacturer  Crash

All in all a good trip to Dorchester Crash
