I'm not a fan of watching the big games in pubs, much prefer my mates coming round mine or vice versa.
Yeah i prefer that as well. You cant pick the company in massive bars and they always seem to fill up with massive twats when big footy games are on. |

I'm rather hoping, using the lack of interest in the England team on this site as a barometer, that this summer pubs will be much more pleasant during matches....a return to pre 1990 hopefully.

Going back to the Screen, there is a by law against street drinking down Town. The Police would have to put a lot of effort and money into Policing it if football was on the big screen in summer.
Supermarket booze is just too cheap in comparison to the Pubs.
