I'm not a fan of watching the big games in pubs, much prefer my mates coming round mine or vice versa.

Yeah i prefer that as well. You cant pick the company in massive bars and they always seem to fill up with massive twats when big footy games are on.

Haha I forgot about the market gear. Dont forget the bellends who paint their faces as well, which all goes to pot when splashed with flat Carlsberg and then tears at the end.

Wasn't this decision made by the old bill as they didn't want crowd trouble.

I understand the old bill demanded football not be shown as there were rumours on the internet that Poxford fans were going to come down and 'take' wharf green

Me and a few mates took it in turns to have BBQs for the world cup, beats the pub every time.

yes, just imagine the carnival atmosphere in town as England stutter along and barely scrape out of the group....I can hardly contain my excitement.

Home for me.

I'm rather hoping, using the lack of interest in the England team on this site as a barometer, that this summer pubs will be much more pleasant during matches....a return to pre 1990 hopefully.

Erics got his NFL war paint on, and his top boy Burberry gear.

Going back to the Screen, there is a by law against street drinking down Town. The Police would have to put a lot of effort and money into Policing it if football was on the big screen in summer.

Supermarket booze is just too cheap in comparison to the Pubs.
