I'd totally forgotten him. Came on as sub at Leicester and was pretty awful in truth.

I always have thought he could be a decent player. He tore the slave traders a new one in our cup game with them, but never seemed to get any solid form going after that, seemed to drift in and out of games.

I liked him too although was very inconsistant where this year has been cracking for consistancy. In days gone you could toss a coin who was going to have a good game but now is rare for anyone to be off.

I don't think its helped him (or Magera or Comazzi or Esajas etc) that we don't have regular reserves game.

His days were numbered with the arrival of Rooney.

I like him though, his performances against City and Vale were top quality.

Spot on.

I always have thought he could be a decent player. He tore the slave traders a new one in our cup game with them, but never seemed to get any solid form going after that, seemed to drift in and out of games.

He looked lively when he came on against Oxford around that time as well.  It's a shame he fizzled away after that.

4 or 5 assists this season in only about 10 games? not so bad really for a winger

I still think Gabilondo - and Esajas for that matter - could be at the very least decent squad players, even iff we do go up.  I can't help wondering with those two if it's Grant Smith Syndrome.  Di Canio certainly has his favourites, and has rotated the squad.  If we were doing poorly I'd be having kittens about his team selection and substitutions, and I think the fact we have a 35+ goal difference yet our top scorer only has 10 (Connell, who isn't a fixture in the team at the moment) says a lot about our squad selection.

That said, we're top of the league and running away with it, so what the fuck do I know?

(I think any post which even remotely criticises PdC should conclude with that sentence).

Dont think Esejas has the work ethic for Paolo.

Thought Gabilondo was great. Really industrious. Just goes to show how strong our wingers in the first team are.

I love the fact that this season we have so many players we forget about the ones who disappear.. We have had a few already this season.

Nothing more than an impact sub whose impact is only 50% guaranteed imo
