Anyone else watch this last night? On from 11.15 to 00.45 on the BBC If not then watch it on the i-player, it was a really good watch, it showed them from 2007 when Briatore took over to when Warnock won them the Championship last year. This gives a good write up on it and the programme almost made Abramovich look patient with his managers compared to Briatore... http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2012-03-05/qpr-the-four-year-plan,-bbc2---review

I watched it and thought it was fantastic if a little worrying aswell. Briatore just came across as a short-sighted, clueless moron throught, the best bit was when Martin Rowlands lost the ball and Briatore shouted " Who is this man? I want to sell this fucking player". Also when they forced Ainsworth into bringing on Mahon and he went on to score, Briatore and Paldini went mental and took all the credit. Seriously, if you haven't watched it then make sure you do.

I did laugh at that, especially as about 20 minutes before it showed the board moaning about playing 1 striker at home!

Just watched this, absolutely fancinating viewing.
Briatore was totally clueless, even when Warnock is on the the verge of taking them up Briatore is still constantly critizing him. Just goes to show how a group of rich people with no knowledge of the game can mess a team up when the interefere/undermine the manager, i.e. the Blackstock/Sousa situation.
No surprise everything turned around when Briatore wasn't as involved and the sensible Indian chap just left Warnock to get on with things.

agree with you. What a slimey toad Briatore was-is. A horrible individual. Total contrast to Mittal who was a gent.

I can now totally believe that Briatore instructed one of his F1 drivers to crash on purpose. Clearly treats his employees like shit.

Really interesting - players and managers come and go but it's the fans who care the most!

Bonkers as they undoubtedly were, and clearly our board carry/present themselves better, but over roughly the same period, their bonkers board took them up to the Prem, our lot took us down to League 2. Total contrast to Mittal who was a gent.
#pedantry it was his son-in-law, not Mittal.
