Gutted. Back to August defending for 5 stupid minutes.

After that you have to give Oxford credit, they totally packed the goal and defended well, we struggled to break them down and looked a bit at a loss at times.

Not overly impressed with Paolo's substitutions, but that's subjective.

Not a total loss, some scamps have apparently flooded the away end Smiley

This result will mean nothing if we go up. Forget about it, let Oxford have their moment and get back on track Tuesday.

he takes chances, others squandered them today. The fella has never had a run of games and has scored some vital goals despite that.

Plus, why have him on the bench in the first place? What possible scenario would have seen him being used, if he wasn't utilized in that situation?

How did their keeper get MOTM?! Duberry had Benson in his back pocket and won everything!

Spot on!

As much as it pains me to say it, Duberry as at the CG back in August was outstanding.

Now if he rather than Constable had been sent off ..... We may have had a different result!

Commentators saying that Oxford fans would rather win this game than go up?

Fuck that. I want to go up.

Oxford fans just want to win these games more than us, it's natural for the underdogs (smaller clubs)  to have more desire to win. Unfortunately for us

Paolo:
- Dominated to begin with but didnt score
- Players sad at the moment
- Dont like to see players give up
- Created several clear cut chances but didnt put them away
- Players not ready to play this type of game
- Doesnt mean that they are a bad team
- 3 crazy minutes that unfortunately happened against Oxford
- To win a war you have to go through 46 battles. We've lost one
- Started very well, but something happened in the players brain. Paolo has gone through it himself when playing Man Utd, where all of a sudden he felt he couldnt do anything
- Expects more from his top players. They didnt perform well today
- Didnt believe that they could come back into the game
- Suffered with a little mental fatigue.
- After 5 mins Town should have been 3-0 up
- Cibbocchi made '2 silly...STUPID...school boy mistakes'
- Wes, who has been one of the best players in the last couple of months, appeared unsure in the box
- Over 2 games we have only score 1 out of 14-15 chances
- Constable sending off: Didn't see it, but if he used his elbows then it was justified
- Disappointed by second half effort
- Happy to play on Tuesday in order to put defeat behind them quickly
- Wants to see how the players will respond. Not worried, unless they panic on Tuesday, where they need to perform in order to deserve to stay on top
- Said to fans at the end not to worry and not to feel too bad as we are still top of the league. In summary, you win some you lose some. Focus on the long term strategy of getting promotion

Boooo! Di Canio out. Can't even beat Poxfords ten me.

Oh! Hang on a minute. Top of the league. Ten straight wins since Christmas. Maybe I'm being too hasty here. Cheesy

I was thinking yesterday how this is exactly the type of game where we're really going to miss Flint.  Not just for his towering presence in our box but also for his towering presence in their box.  Just what you need when you're struggling to break a poor side down.
