I do hope that the Football League give The Manager of the Month Award to Dean Holdsworth for February.

Paolo on!

- 1st half hour difficult because they played 4-5-1, it was difficult to find space
- The players were amazing because they had patience and waited for chances
- 2nd half we saw the difference - we created 6 or 7 chances
- A completely different performance to a few days ago, thankful to the players for learning from mistakes
- We had to increase our tempo and determination, and have more quality, and take a touch on the ball
- When we played with discipline we gained more quality
- Alan Connell is a good player but it was difficult for him. Ronan is fast over 10-15 yards and we saw the way he scored the goal, arriving in front of his opponent. He came on so we could play flick-ons
- Benson is a perfect professional and encourages his team mates
- Still looking for another striker for cover - you can't leave it to fate, people might get injured. We don't want to be in the same situation as the strt of the year, losing 1-0 and having no options up front
- Hope Smith will be available for Saturday, not a serious injury
- Saturday is important, but is not crucial for the season as we will remain top. BUT we have to repay them for the game here, they have to pay the price for that
- We are not perfect but we are at the top. It's nice and I'd like to remain there. We can always improve. I said well done to the players at the end, but we know we can play better. The game should have finished 4, 5, or 6-0
- This group is fantastic. They have desire, they are mixed ages but with a lot of youngsters, and they want to become better players. I'm not the best manager, but I don't think there is one better than me in teaching the players. I make them better players and they make me a better manager.
- I've paid for tickets for Wembley for 20 people, £744 yesterday! Already about 40 coming, another 60(?) likely to join them in the cathedral of football which is Wembley. 45,000 would be fantastic for this level... But it's very expensive! It will be a fantastic day, but we want to win the trophy!

THANK YOU!

Rooney and Benson are turning out to be quality signings.
Not to forget Foderingham, whom we take for granted a bit now.. He has won us so many points.

Routine win. We're the tits.

First half everything went down our right, lots of chances but nothing quite happened.

Second half everything went down our left, worked much better. Cibbochi and Risser had good games, which is nice to see the whole thing starting to work and good that we can win without Ritchie and Caddis running the show.

1st half struggled to get a tempo, but Burton played to frustrate us, 2nd half deffo stepped up a few gears and good value for the 2-0 win!

10 Wins in a row is fantastic, great to hear Paolo say we owe the Scum one for the 21st August but he put the game in context in that we're going there for the 3 points!

Congrats to Benson on his 100th career goal, 101 on Saturday and this is for the O*ford lot who read this forum...We're coming for you, we're coming for you...We're Swindon, We're coming for you!  Smug Fuck Off

A pretty routine win really. We didn't panic and Burton were pretty crap. I think we had gears to go up if we needed them. I'd like to give a big thumbs up to Risser tonight. He had a cracking game, broke play up, won headers, tackled well and played the ball simple. Also Rooney, when he gets the ball he's so bloody direct it scares the shit out of defenders.
Roll on saturday. someone is going to get a real rodgering soon - hopefully they will.

We are going to give someone a thumping...hopefully it'll be on Saturday.

If we beat Pox, we'll be just the 14 points ahead of Crawley, before they kick-off.

So who'd the best side in League 2 Fat Boy?!

Very comfortable win with a really good second half showing from the players. Rooney was taking the piss when running at their full-back.

11 in a row on Saturday now please lads!
