Why are the pundits always outside at the side of the pitch in these games . Don't they have a studio to broadcast from?

I know there are studios at the grounds, but why don't ESPN use them. Surely they are provided by the club for the use of the media

I think they do something similar on german tv. Guess they are trying to be unique or something.

Been watching some of the Chelsea game, AVB has spent almost the entire game outside of his Technical area. Just as well his name isn't Paolo, as he would surely be banned to the stands for life by now
