This really does baffle me and kind of angers me in way!

They surrounded the referee because they thought the punishment should of been a sending off, being last man and all. We see it week in, week out where player surround the ref and nothing gets done about.

The FA are fucking ridiculous. This is just another petty excuse to fine STFC for something that is irrelavent.

Evans was constantly waving his arms about, shouting, moaning but nothing ever gets done about that! They constantly had 2/3 coaches stood up in the technical area.

I'm so glad Caddis and Rooney were giving that fat cunt some stick!!!

Just a shame we couldn't have Di Canio rip that shit out of him on the sideline!!!

I expect this is as a result of the referee's match report. Although I do agree we shouldn't be surroundng the ref like that he could have booked someone at the time. Instead he decided to bottle practically every decision and the game was threatening to get out of control.

I always said that a ref should do more if he gets players arguing with him.

THE REF. WHEN IT HAPPENS. DURING THE GAME.

And what does taking £1,000 off us do? What do they think they'll achieve? All the players that were the 'culprits' will still take the field on Saturday.. Fucking stupid.

I love this man more and more every time he speaks.

The bit at the end is brilliant 'They will have to do more than this because 3-0'  Cheesy

Evans should have been banned for life for what he did at Boston.

Good to be finally back from my 'fine'.

No one told me I had to log out and log in again for me to be able to start posting again!

I feel rather victimised. I hadn't really done anything wrong apart from being a bit stupid and joking that I'd start a matchday thread. Never again.  Sad

They just showed the interview on SSN along with the incident. FWIW whilst our players did surround the referee, the Crawley players were pushing and shoving just as much as us in the incident so for us to be fined and not them does seem to be a little strange.

At the end he said 'we have crushed them 6-0 this season!'

I heard the commentator say one of their players put their hand on one of our players throat? Why isn't that red?

The Crawley number 4 had his hands round Caddis' throt at one stage. When the linesman went onto the field to chat with the ref I assumed that a punishment would follow, but they bottled that one as well.

And was the Rooney/Caddis incident(s) with Evans started by us, or by Evans?
