We ended up in a place called Thirsty Eddie's last time. It was a tiny little pub and was absolutely rammed but the service was fairly quick.

So, I complained to ticketzone about the fact that they cocked up my booking.

Turns out that my online booking failed, & so they reserved the best available seats in the block I asked for, but forgot to tell me when they called me back to retake the payment.

They have offered to refund me for the tickets if I send them back (which is pointless as I will have to buy more tickets which will be even further back), swap them for other seats (which is no better) or refund my booking fees (so that's the option I have agreed to).

No ideal but the best of a bad situation. You can buy a Ferrari now.

I'm fairly sure that's where we were as well.  Looked a bit of a dive from the outside, but the atmosphere was cracking inside.  If only we could have carried that with us to the stadium.

The problem with the Green Man is that is was obviously where a lot of our lot went last time and it was obviously good...so now every bugger knows it by reputation and wants to go there.  You're bound to get many more people turning up this time as a result, and some may not even get in.  I won't be going anywhere near it.

Like I said, get there early and take the tube a few stops to Kilburn, more pubs than Paolo's had touchline bans

Third tier, front row.  And I'm afraid of heights.

Heights are fine, it's the agonising fall and impact that's the problem
