I thought exactly the same myself. Terry must be the only person to be shamed out of the captaincy twice. I still can't get my head around the fact Chelsea have backed him and that he continues to try and defend himself - probably because he has absolutely nothing to lose. If he admitted it - people wouldn't be saying "oh, at least he's admitted it...what a decent chap". We saw what he said - his 'defence' is completely implausible - and I hope Chelsea take the same stance with him when he is found guilty as they do with their fans if they're racist within the ground.
