Would like to add Get Him To The Greek.  was wankered when I watched it but from what I remember he was quite good in it.

Stroke the fur, stroke the fur!  That movie had me in stitches.

His old radio stuff was funny too. He had his time and wore out, it happens.

i absolutely hated this film and found it not funny in the slightest. I do also think brand is a grade a wanker however i did enjoy the big fat quiz of the year with him and noel feilding. Maybe my opinions just dont count  Hmmm

Russell Brand is undoubtfully talented and a pretty intelligent guy.

I don't think Hollywood is the greatest fit for him but his podcasts were brilliant on occasion.

I met Brand a party after a Carter gig a few years ago and I can confirm he is a grade A cunt.

I have seen 2 films with Mr Brand in and all I can say is that when he acts he doesnt act he is just himself.

Not good in an actor, not good in general, just not good.

I've grown to like him, very witty and intelligent, and can take the piss out of himself.

Not funny in my book, seems a nice guy but not funny at all, unless winding up old men floats your boat.

I have never really seen Russel Brand live or any of his films so have nothing to add to this debate.

However, caught some of Live at the Apollo at the weekend and saw a fella called Josh Widdicombe who raised a couple of laughs.

I've been to a few of his shows over the years and I actually met him once I think it was in 2005. Came across as a genuinely nice guy. I loved his radio shows he used to do with Matt Morgan and the podcasts aswell. Good stuff.

I don't care one way or another about him as a comedian, but am insanely jealous the fact the lucky bugger has more than likely had his old man buried deep in Katy Perrys pooper.

On a positive note though.

Tim Minchin's a funny cunt.

There are funnier songs going off in the Town End every home game.
