Would prefer Southend but can't make that so Leicester it is.

Absolutely.  League first, everything else second.  Anyone old enough to have been around in 1995 will remember that making the semi-final of the League Cup hardly made up for the bitter disappointment of relegation to the third tier that year.  The Cups are fun...but that's it.  I'd enjoy them more if we knew that promotion was wrapped up.  (And it's not.)

I deleted my post because the thread was more about which one to go to.

I remember 1994/95 and wholeheartedly agree.

A win at Southend to go top would be awesome.

Although I expect they'll be a few league games saturday that could ruin that potentially happening.

We'd need to beat them by 2 goals wouldn't we?

Yes, 1 would see us level on difference but they have scored more. We also need Macclesfield to beat Cheltenham on Saturday.

We do indeed, even though the goal difference would be the same with a 1-0 win the goals scored is by far in Southends favour.

I'd settle for a scrappy 1-0 and still being behind on goals scored Smiley

In fact I'd settle for a draw.

I dreamt we beat Leicester 2-0 last night. I've been to Southend before and don't want to inflict that on my soul again, so I'm now thinking about going to Leicester.
