I thought I read somewhere that the Bengals needed to win & both the Broncos & Dolphins had to lose.

Surely Miami will beat the Jets
If Broncos win they are in. If they lose and Miami win then Miami are in. If both lose then Bengals are in.

The game was over when they scored on their first 3 possessions. It hasn’t been a contest. Chiefs 2nd team (and now 3rd team) didn’t have a chance.

Think I would be upset if I were a Bengals fan. Especially as the Dolphins are losing to the Jets

Well...kind of but not really. The Bengals put themselves in that position by losing so many games they could/should have won in the first half of the season i.e. losing both games to the Ravens by a combined total of 4 points, losing at home to the hapless Patriots in Week 1 etc etc....ridiculous and very disappointing. Don't blame KC through and well done to the Broncos...

What the chiefs did wasn't unusual. Packers did it a few years ago when they got the number 1 seed. In fact we ended up resting Love and Jacobs for the 2nd half last night!

There may be some truth with not wanting to face the Bengals in the playoffs, but I think the health of their stars is probably more important to them.

Side note - really happy Rodgers got number 500. If he is to retire, which I think he should, it would have been a real shame if he didn't hit that milestone.

Interesting to note that there were a number of players who were close to triggering massive 1/2 million to a million dollar incentives and the coaches actively helped them do it! Can you imagine that happening at the County Ground? Nah, sorry fella, you're on the bench today. I need to manage your minutes!

The end of the buccaneers game was very silly for that, although I didn’t realise at the time it was to tie a record

Yes, 11 x 1000 yard seasons on the bounce.

They wouldn't have thrown to him if it wasn't to tie Rice's record! Evans has probably made enough where another million or so is pocket change

I was disappointed that Philly rested Barkley who had a good chance to take Dickerson's record, but it's understandable given there was nothing at stake in the game. Good to see the second string still beat the best that the Giants had to offer though. Although there was lots of silly speculation about them not wanting a result to preserve their draft picks.

I feel like if he was 5 yards off £3m, given his standing for that team they probably just give him it anyway, right?

In essence - not playing that extra games just means he’s had the same 16 game season to get the record everyone else had…

Deshaun Watson has done his achilles ligament and might miss all of 2025

I was reading that the Browns may go for Zac Wilson from the Broncos when he reaches free agency.
