Nix has definitely turned out to be much more of a Payton type QB, someone that can take on board a complex system & run it how the coach wants.

The irony is going to be that the Broncos could come up against Wilson & the Steelers in the playoffs
Lets hope so!

The comparisons with Peyton and Nix start and end with the fact they both played in Denver.

Manning ran his old Colts plays when he was in Denver and basically had full autonomy, similar to Brady at Tampa and Rodgers at the Jets.

Bo is a smart signal caller though, and definitely looks like the Broncos franchise QB with a Head Coach who helped Drew Brees succeed.

EDIT - Realise you mean the coach indeed, not Manning. Need more coffee, clearly.

Like Bo Nix perhaps?

Although he was awful tonight. They only won because Taylor showboated and dropped the ball before crossing into the end zone on a 41 yard run. That and a massive punt return by Mimms changed the game.

The 8 year play off drought looks to be coming to an end!
As a Bengals fan, the Broncos offer about the only outside chance they have of making the play offs. Broncos lose their remaining three games, one of which is v the Bengals and a few other things happen.... and they're in the play offs. Not going to happen.

Should never be in that position though with Burrow and Chase putting up historic numbers. Heads need to roll in the off season (but probably won't.... not the right heads anyway)...

Broncos will lose at least 1 of those. Chargers always up their game against Broncos. Chiefs might save Mahomes in the last game.

All 3 games are losable

Stop whining! I'm not a big fan, but my team, if I had one, is the Chicago Bears.

Ice hockey,  Maple Leafs

Football, Swindon Town

I'm beginning to think sports isn't for me

I'm a complete Jonah when it comes to following sport. I started to get into Swindon Speedway a few years back and look what happened to them Doh

At least the Leafs have done alright recently.

Bears is a terrible choice though. Go Pack!

Not looking forward to tonight. Think there will be an appearance of the Donkeys rather than the Bungles!

Yeah.... huge game for sure.... Even if the Bengals win though, they've put themselves in a situation where too many things outside their control, need to go their way. I think the Broncos will do it....I think you'll beat the Chiefs who will surely be resting starters (i.e Mahomes) in week 18...

I think the Bengals will win by 3-4 points and the Broncos will be hoping (as you say) for the Chiefs to rest their starters - Although I don't think they will until the game is safe.

If the Bengals win, they still have to beat the Steelers, which isn’t a given.

If I was any other team in the AFC I’d prefer that the Bengals were not in the playoffs
