Wycombe or Southend.

I seem to remember their chairman saying they didn't want him, while he was still on their books. Or something like that.

Yeah something about he hadn't lived up to what they paid for him.
When he went back after us they released him and then he had problems signing for Wycombe because he played for two clubs in the season already or something  along them lines anyway.
