I wasn't sure what tinpot meant, but I looked it up in the dictionary and it says "a football club whose manager demands a plaque to commemorate beating Wigan's Reserves in the cup".

Mine says 'football league/conference club, that builds a new stadium with only 3 sides'

Thick cunts who think they're original or funny or clever by using phrases like "tinpot", "forever in our shadow" etc. always get my goat, Constable offers or no Constable offers.

Yep,about 9 pages of it on your forum Cheesy

Come on Oxford, you had your cup final anything else was going to be a bonus.

Take it it like a man and stop biting.

e.g. Huddersfield and Oxford?

And we all know we're as tinpot as each other. Just a pair of little/medium football clubs.

to be fair, as between you and Oxford City, I would say you are the less tinpot - even if City have been in the news more than your lot lately

Genuine question, but did Huddersfield originally build their ground with 3 sides?

Was looking at their ground on interweb, looks bloody impressive from above.

Yes it was, they added the 4th stand a year later.

Huddersfield had a three sided stadium first but then when Oxford were planning to build a 3 sided stadium to be just like them the Huddersfield owners didn't want to be as tinpot as Oxford so they built the 4th.

This made me chuckle over on the Pox forum

Quote
IF DECENT OFFER COMES FOR BEANO FROM SCUM OR ANYONE ELSE THEN SELL .
BUY ANY OF THESE TO REPLACE HIM CRAIG DAVIES , STUART BEAVON
SIMON COX OR BILLY BODIN .
WITH OR WITHOUT SALE OF BEANO WE NEED TO SPEND MONEY ON ANOTHER PROVEN STRIKER IF WE ARE TO GO UP THIS SEASON.

Cheesy deluded inbred twat.

Is that directed at me? Oh yeah, I've always been the first to put us up there with the massive clubs like Man Utd, Liverpool, and Swindon Town. You've got me there. Nice one.

And its "you're". When you are trying to say "you are", you should write "you're".

I wasn't sure what tinpot meant, but I looked it up in the dictionary and it says "a football club whose manager demands a plaque to commemorate beating Wigan's Reserves in the cup".

...and "its" should be "it's". Who do you work for? Waterstone's?
