I liked the ground, it's the pitch I have an issue with.

The only things I didn't like about the ground are the two poxy temporary stands that have been built on terraces.

They remind me of the identikit stands that were at the manor shed up the A420, and also the away end at the Pikey's, which is equally shit

But other than those two, I thought it was a tidy little ground.

In reality, I think Barnet are probably better off there, than having a shiny new ground which is 3/4 empty every week.

I know he's not our player but I felt very sorry for the guy. Thought I'd put this link on re: Senda - here's a bit about his injuries

Hope he recovers and plays again...

think I'm right in saying the slope at Barnet from end to end is between 10ft to 12ft that makes it something like a slope of 1 in 20. I guess we had the choice of ends on Tuesdays ko as i can't imagine Barnet would want to play up the slope and the opposite end from their own fans in the 2nd half. Perhaps one of our friends from Barnet know this ?

Gutted for him, I was right behind and could see it was bad. I really do hope he recovers and plays again.

Just hope his injury is not as complicated as last time, dislocations nearly always turn out worse than  straight breaks and age isn't on his side football wise. Fingers crossed for him.

Just noticed that Barnet had a very good result, 0-3, at in form Accrington yesterday.

Chesterfield 2  Oldham 1. Looking at stats Oldham were unlucky and will still fancy their chances in the second leg.

If we get there. neither holds any fears. Think I'd rather play oldham as we know what they will be like, Chesterfield are more of an unkown. Cue 2-0 Barnet win to make my comments irrelevant.

Not sure who I'd prefer to face, I think Oldham will beat Chesterfield in the 2nd leg but as you say Sutton neither holds any fear! I am more fearful of cocking up against Barnet at home, although I maintain we'll be too strong for them and get through!

pretty poor crowd of 5,724 last night at Chesterfield, you would have thought the prospect of Wembley would be more appealling.

And yes as Notts says the stats were heavily against Chesterfield last night.

Chesterfield had 7 shots on target, 6 shots off target, 8 corners and conceded 17 free kicks.
Oldham had 12 shots on target, 10 shots off target, 10 corners and only 5 free kicks.

Oh and I am sure we can beat either of these sides in the final should we get there.
