It has been at their end for a while now. Just Another point he tweeted about 30mins ago that he was off for tea and biscuits with his entourage for the next few hours. Sounds like business to me. Let's hope he is having his photo done with his scarf held high above his head. Or I could just be completely wrong and it's just me wanting to believed that's what's happening !

I thought he meant tea and biscuits watching the TV series entourage?!

I hope not. By my reckoning, there's at least 8 hours potential training left today. Di Canio's getting slack.

I want to go with the theory that he has a entourage of people pouring him tea and dunking biscuits for him

Simon Jordan has just re-purchased Crystal Palace and stuck a £2 million price tag on Fodders Head.

Relax - only joking.

The deal is done. Wes wants to sign for us because he is settled at this club.  There is nothing sinister about this transfer except the paperwork needs to be completed by Palace before the club can officially announce the deal

Wish they'd fucking hurry up. Slackers.

Doubt it. Think we've got enough scope for Wes with Clarke, Benyon, Ridehalgh and Jervis now off our books.

Just spoke to a Eagle fan and he knows a few youth players at Palace, they are convinced Wes is to sign however he wants a release clause in the contract should we not be promoted and also a minimum transfer trigger fee should a bigger club come in as well as a buy back clause? Imagine this is accurate info, mates normally spot on when it comes to Palace transfer news. I think we should get him on loan and then sign when he is out of contract, still think Palace are waiting on theyre keepers fitness as well. Worrying all the same that no deal has been signed.

Didn't the board come out after the whole Morrison saga that they would never put one of those clauses into a players contract?

Or was that just Fitton and Wray (and Paolo) is happy for them?

I really hope that's not true. I'd naively hoped that we had banished the greed from the club with the preseason cull. Hoped that we had a group of players together who wanted to work as a team, rather than using their situation as a stepping stone to something better. Oh well.
