Perfection is not attainable

Thats very true, we haven't seen if he will collapse when he has made an error as Smith has done in the past, but judging by how his demeanour is on the pitch, I would say that confidence won't be a problem for him.

And conceding just 4 goals in 12 matches is absolutely stunning.

And its only a slightly worse 7 in 16 since the Hereford game in all competitions.

Obviously the defence has had a massive influence on the amount of goals conceded as well but you cannot underestimate the effect of Wes coming in and the confidence he inspires in the defenders in front of him.

I do think that he will be the best signing we have made all season.

The defence does also take a lot of the credit but last year and earlier in the season Smith etc. were prone to at least one calamity per game. They didnt always result in goals but you could never relax!

Has he signed yet, the anticipation of this is getting as painful as 'Statement Friday' used to be.
