Essentially damage limitation, which is OK, but nothing more....Benson is definitely short term, needs to score us 10 goals before the end of the season.

I'd guess an 18 month contract given his age

Have read on forums only good reports from Dagenham fans too.

They also mentioned that Benson played there when Ritchie was on loan, lets hope they got on ok then

let's not forget that he did train with us for 3-4 days, so he must have impressed for us to go back in for him.

Depends...Benson is a 32 year old Div 4 striker, so he's been brought in to get us out of this league, if not this season, then next

No mentions of being riddled with injuries, as Bradford fans are trying to make out.

Hopefully this will turn out to be a good bit of business all round.   Getting rid of that cunt Clarke and getting in a proven striker at this level with a lot of experience.  Looking forward to seeing him play Monday!

They seem a nice bunch there. He's no Leon Clarke then which is promising, sounds like he'll be fine

Good deal imo.  Just hope he's kept his fitness levels up because we need a decent finisher
