The foreign lads have been a real disappointment haven't they? Just shows where signing a bunch of agent recommendations rather than doing proper scouting gets you.

I trust we'll not be hearing any more from 'Agent Darren' during January.

Magera, Cibocchi, Risser.....
Whilst not near the players in front of them in terms of team selection, I feel that these three have enough to be ok as backup. Not sure that we would get much better to be squad players only.

No real stinkers there just a few disappointments, Mcomack has been a revelation at the back and while I think he will be limited in higher leagues, Smith has got a got better and better. A real physical presence (he will get a red sometime ). Who did the scouting on the likes of Lanzano, Comazzi and Atiku?

Yeah but someone must have recommended them. Their agents directly? Either way he got it a bit wrong by signing them too quickly. Hindsight is a wonderful thing of course.

I think Di Canio panicked with some of the pre-season signings, did he not admit as much with Atiku?

I can see why he did, we had almost an entire squad leave last summer. --- To be honest I'm impressed he swallowed his pride and stopped playing the duffers. He's got a massive squad be he's currently getting more right than wrong.
