I think in Jervis' post match interview he said it came off his shoulder?

Wes made quite possibly the best save I have ever seen.

I propose a statue of Suggs is erected outside the Townend should we win the league.

After much debate during the game and having slowed it down on sky+ on the football league show, I maintain the first goal was an own goal. One thing for sure is it didn't come from Jervis' head. Did anyone else notice this?
Where we sit in the DRS is more or less directly in line with the incident, everybody there was convinced it was an own goal!

Great result.Easy to forget they had only lost 1 away all season. We actually allowed them to have the ball so much. The amount of times i heard the players shouting let them just play tells you how happy we were to let them do that.Have to say aswell i think that was the best save i have seen in the long time at the cg.One last thing is i think Jervis gets a bit too much stick,ok he doesnt do the work of someone like Austin but i wouldnt mind betting his goals to game ratio is not as bad as people probably think

His decision to book Ferry was baffling.
I think it's still the rule that if you stand in front of a free kick to slow it down and the free kick is taken it's a bookable offence. However, most pro's don't deliberately get their opponents booked as it's probable they could every time a free kick is awarded!

It is technically a yellow card offence, but it happened another seven or eight times in the match without a booking.

Great win yesterday. I thought our defence was superb. We were so well organised and composed Morecambe didn't have a clue how to break us down.
I thought first half they were decent enough but knocking the ball about and not creating anything doesn't get you very far. Probably wasn't our best performance but getting the 2nd just before half time was a big boost for us and in the second half we played a lot better, got stuck in and the third goal was a great move and finish.
Was impressed with McCormack, Flint, Wes, Smith and Murray yesterday. Caddis, Ritchie and Ferry weren't at their best but even when they aren't they still cause teams no end of problems. Keeping all 3 of them in Jan is so vital for us. Wasn't impressed with Magera. I think the "he needs games" arguement is starting to wear a bit thin now as well. I'd like to see Murray start soon.
Onto the next 2 away games. How long can we keep this run going for? I feel the more points we get on the road the better as at home I can't see us losing many games at all between now and May.

Good, solid performance. They had a lot of possession but did Absolutley nothing with it. Foderingham made a couple of brilliant saves but apart from that they offered nothing. I thought Ritchies service was brilliant today. Would like to see Murray start at Torquay, Magera looks like he is struggling to get into games.

Im a little suspicious, whats going on? Where are the usual 'we were crap and swindon were just less crap', 'they were diving and cheating' and 'Dicanio is a disgrace' comments from the the opposing sides forums? Maybe the 72 fans haven't got back to slag us off yet.

long way to come to get stuffed and the weather is shite up there. Bollocks would i have done it
The weather may be shit in a lot of parts of the north, but it isn't so bad in Morecambe to stop then travelling - bit icy here (lancaster) this AM but not yesterday - its only 5-10 mins from M6 anyway. I am not sure what there crowds are like (haven't been for ages and not since they moved to the new Oxfordesque ground) but there isn't a huge amount of noticible support for them and any they do have is shared with the mighty Dolly Blues (Lancaster City). Anyway cannot wait till the away game as I will be able to walk to watch Swindon play for the first time since the Newcastle away game in the Premiership season, and we all remember what happened there! Can I suggest to anyone coming up for the game and wanting to make a weekend of it, stay in Lancaster rather than Morecambe as there is a little more to do!

'Dicanio is a disgrace'
He did have a bit of a go at someone on the Morecambe bench, didn't one of them get sent off. It was quite good actually. It got the crowd going.

Jason Price was their last sub, been around a bit, Swansea, Doncaster, Millwall and a few others. Used to be half decent but think he spends a lot of time injured now so probably playing at the right level.

Just had a laugh out loud moment over my cornflakes at The Washbags match report. The bit about Jervis having "the grace of a tossed caber".
Great result, but doesn't sound like I missed much by staying at work.
