Smith or Ridehalgh MoM for me, but good performances across the field with the exception of Magera, who I really want to be good but just isn't at the moment. Murray and Jervis next week.

I don't think either team were that arsed about it and nor were the crowd. The ref was a complete tit. We scored 3 quality goals and Morecambe looked good on the ball but were nowhere near as incisive as we were. Their no 6 was blowing out of his arse after 10 minutes. MOM for me was either Smiith ior Ferry. It went to Mccormack and that will make up for one the times he should have won it and it went to Ferry. As for the players Wes was ace as usual - one excellent save and another decent one but by God does he give you confidence. The back 4 were pretty good, restricted Morecable to 2 chances. Ferry and Smith were both excellent. Ritchie looked like Ritchie - good and crap in equal parts but the good outweighing the bad. Devita wasn't at his best but scored a good goal. Jervis wasn't that great but that was a good header. Now for Magera - this guy either isn't fit or is shit or both. We had a player years ago called David Geddis who was nicknamed Douglas Bader and Magera is the same. This guy cannot run, and although I'm 20 stone I can get higher off the ground. Murray looked really lively when he came on and a good goal. Risser did OK. We really need to see more movement up front. I'd like to see Magera dropped and Murray given a run. Or alternatively lets give Storey a run from the bench. But we're up to 5th, 3 goals, another clean sheet and this team can play a lot better - happy days. Oh yes and what the fuck was Don Goodman doing on the pitch kicking and elbowing everything that got within 10 yards of hom.

[pedant]How can he have been good and crap in equal parts but the good outweighs the bad? Does 'good' have a higher density than 'bad' or something?[/pedant]

Wasn't there today but Magera has impressed me every time I see him. Very unselfish, holds it up, obviously has quality. No, he won't score a lot of goals but he must be great to play alongside.

First match in over three months for my but here's my take on it.
Poor match overall. Think we just edged it, though the goal on the stroke of half time was perfect in terms of timing and killing off anything Morecambe had to offer. We were okay today, not our best, but I don't think we needed to be. Foderingham was as faultless as I've heard he's been, the backline were strong - though we did give them a lot of space and a lot of time on the ball. Still think we need another striker as Jervis plays quite deep and Magera, for all of his height and aerial presence, offers us very little. McCormack was my man of the match also, was quite simply everywhere today, so much deserved.
Enjoyable to be back at the County Ground and roll on Northampton away and Wigan home!
PS - Morecambe's support is dire. I'm well aware we're close to Christmas and it's about five hours away, but to not even get into three figures is pathetic. And drums do NOT belong at football!

The BBC are wankers. They didn't even bother reading it out when we scored our first goal yet they were all over it every time Crawley scored. They've also made their unbeaten run of 15 games a headline, yet no mention of our unbeaten run of the same length.

Slow to start again De Vita was cutting inside too much leaving ridelaugh to look after the right channel in first half. We looked much lively when Murray played up front with Jervis.... Magera links the play well, but is not an out and out striker lacks speed or a more aggressive element to his game. Morecambe looked a good team first half without a cutting edge - second half they looked ordinary.

The fact that most people think we can play better (and in agree) just shows how far we've come. Morcambe didn't look great but I think alot of that was down to our own performance. Before today from their 10 away games they had only lost 1 and only conceded 8 goals. A very very good result and glad that Paolo won't have to cancel Christmas now.
72 away fans must be close to a record in the league at our place. I assume they counted the drum.
