...Paolo has made sure everyone works hard in training every day and also no one ever misses training which is obviously a good thing... Eh? Has this been a problem in the past?

Why do they do this?
Apart from the beginning of the season when Ferry appeared not to be in Di Canio's plans there has been no speculation regarding his future at the club. Now they start speculating just before the transfer window opens - it's asking for trouble.
I really hope that Ferry is being honest when he says he won't leave. But then I remember Douglas more or less saying the same thing…..

Pointless fucking story.
If a championship club taps him up in January offering to double his wages he will be off in a shot just like anyone would.

By we I meant the club. From what I've heard (which as always could be complete and utter bollocks) the club basically said as soon as we got relegated they couldnt afford to keep him. If we did offer him a contract it would have been on seriously reduced wages - which we would have never signed....and didnt. I also dont believe we would have tried to give Ferry away - that would be plain stupid.
