i've had a look and there are no tickets together at all, not even two together in any stand but stratton bank

Sounds like we're pretty much sold out now!

When was the last time the CG was sold out?

depends how many you wanted together? there are only tickets scattered around the joint in the other stands

Might be why then. I asked for 3 together. (I should have engaged brain.)

it's the same with two blocks of the bank, only one block with 'good' availability which is the shit one right on the end.

I'm more wondering when was the last time there was this many Swindon fans in the County Ground. Usually if the demand for tickets is there then its also there for away fans, meaning we don't get as much of the ground.

The only time i've ever seen the bank open to our fans was in the Sturrock days.

The town end and the bank singing "We are Sturrocks red and white army" to each other was amazing.

I can remember the ground being pretty much full then!

Hopefully we can at least get to half time still level and keep the atmosphere going. That would be class again, changes the whole atmosphere of the ground when another stand sings.

I went on the SB for the Mansfield game and there were around 10k there. This should be something else with 13500 Town fans in all four stands.

They do say they need a positive reaction from fans if/when they reduce ticket prices, looks like they've got one here.

I dunno, that Mansfield game was such a party atmosphere in the sunshine. Brilliant. There were a few random games I went on the bank like Stockport 2003, but again that was summertime. If its windy and raining against Wigan I wouldnt expect too much atmosphere from the fans on the bank!

Was anyone here on the bank against Blackburn in the 1995 LC game? Thats the only other time I can remmember Town fans on an all seater Stratton Bank in the winter.

Wigan currently losing at home to Sunderland.

Wonder how they are going to view the game against us - a chance to rest players?

The Premier League is understandably their priority but players like Victor Moses against L2 players should prove too much.

I just hope we play well in front of the big home crowd because away support will be minimal.

Southampton reserves showed how good a second string can be.

Lets hope Wigan are half arsed in their approach, because if they take it seriously we could be in for a long afternoon.
