Di Canio poised to bring in new striker

PAOLO Di Canio will step up his search for a loan striker this week after conceding that Swindon need a clinical finisher if
they are to maintain aspirations of achieving automatic promotion this season.

Is it just me, or does this seem to happen every week?

If at first you don't succeed...

10/10 for persistence.

I guess that at some point it will actually happen.

The adver can then report, "as we exclusively revealed earlier this week....blah, blah, blah".

I'm pretty sure that Paolo isn't on the phone to the adver first thing every Monday telling them that he is about to sign a prolific striker.

This does seem to be a regular occurrence but you have to look at the circumstances.  Players have come in and gone (Montano and Clarke) and others have been injured, Magera now a couple of times this season and at the weekend Kerrouche.  We lacked any strikers on the bench on Saturday and desperately needed a fresh pair of legs for the last 15 minutes as Connell was blowing out of his arse.

Obviously isn't training hard enough. Ship him out before the rot sets in the squad!

Maybe it's just me but this doesn't sound like he is 'poised' currently.

'PAOLO Di Canio will step up his search for a loan striker this week'

I would have thought if he had found and offered a deal to a striker, he could then be said to be poised.
