I think at the Stratton bank end of the existing concourse there is a room that was supposed to be used as a supporters bar (bit like the Winners) but it was never kitted out and never opened.

They used to open the bar room inside the DRS during the late 90's. Isn't it the junior robins room or something now?

OK. The facilities for fans in the South stand are not very good. Suprised more fans in the North stand dont use the Legends lounge, you can warm right up in there.

[stato] there was a bar in at the stratton bank end of the don rogers in the mid to late 90s called 'The Center Spot Bar', it was then a computer type study room and has also been something to do with The Junior Robins [stato]
As for what it's used for now, I have no idea.

Its just a room now, still used by the Jr Robins.
I thought Digby's Bar was there, not just renaming the hole in the wall bar.

There is an access panel in the roof (a bit like a loft access door that you'd have at home) about half way along the existing concourse, above one of the exits. Last time I looked, it was padlocked up.
I think that is the only way into what used to be referred to as the ghost concourse, which has lain empty gathering dust ever since the stand was built.
Seating capacity would be reduced by around 950 in the DRS if it was ever going to be converted into exec boxes though.

I think that if they ever did use the second concourse, then there was talk of extending the DRS backwards. The only problem I see if the trees behind the stand. I would expect there be a lot of uproar and protests if they were to be chopped.

When Wilson was here there was a pre season auction for two fans to go to Brentford the season we got to Wembley. Well I successfully bid for this with my mate.
At the hotel for the pre match meal I was having a good natter with NW & DW. NW informed me there was a mezzanine floor in the DRS and that when it was developed that would be the base. When your in the concourse look how low the ceiling is.... When you go up the stairs to you seat try an imagine where the floor level is then look up the seating and see how much room there is above that for executive boxes, imho loads. Which is worrying as I sit in row R and I'm damn sure that my seat will disappear unless I can afford a box. No access or stairway? I'm not sure about that but I doubt that would be an issue in the persuit of money and the the boxes. NW also told me that the DRS would be the new Arkells by which I'm sure he said that the club offices and changing rooms would be sited there as it in it's self be subject to a major refurb although it's the newest stand.

If there is a second concourse it must be small due to the stand layout.
