Does anyone play at Futsal?
We have a few teams, do quite well, made a new team for the jackpot league but none of the usual lads can make it bar 2, we have rounded up a few ringers but could do with one more player who has played there before at a decent standard?
Kick off 9pm Tonight?

Was with the England futsal captain tonight, he was moaning he didn't have anything on. Perhaps he could turn out for you next week ?

Benny PM me your number, England captain would be top! Would he be allowed to play?
We are probably going to win the league on a monday, tuesday and wednesday. Thursdays is a different story as we havn't got a commited squad for it, 3 nights is enough for most of the team.
We got smashed 14-3 last night, i had never even met 2 of the players before!
Anyone who wants to play, let me know, we could even re name the team Thetownend.com or something!

Where is the futsal in Swindon? I would be interested in playing. I normally play in the arena in Ciren on Mon, Weds and Thurs. Played at an ok standard in 11-a-side (Hellenic League Div 1 west and Premier). Won numerous Monday and Wednesday leagues and cups at the arena on 5 and 6 a side.
How different is it to normal 6-a-side?
What nights would it be?
How much is it?

Kembrey Park.
We need players for Thursday as there are only 2 sometimes 3 of our regular team that can make the 4th night.
Its £35 for the game, we split it between either 5 or 6 depending on how many turn up.
The main difference is you have a lot less time on the ball and the pitches are smaller so all in all you need to be comfortable holding the ball and have good close control.
We have a friendly this week as we are scheduled to play the one Vacant spot in the league so it's only £20 for the team.
If you want to play, PM me your number.

"Where is the futsal in Swindon?" Kembrey Park. Head towards Swindon from the Moonrakers, turn left at the second(?) roundabout - the one with the Prem Travel inn/pub on. Its down there. "How different is it to normal 6-a-side?" As far as I can see the ball isn't as bouncy and play stops if it goes out of play

Never played futsal, I am not a fan of indoor footie to be honest, gets far too hot. I play 5-a-side at the Oasis a couple of times a week.
Haven't played 11-a-side for over 10 years, I think those days are behind me.

Bossy, seriously I'll ask Luke if he fancies a game on a Thursday night. We sometimes run the U18's in the floodlight league but more often than not these games are played on a Wednesday night. I'll get back to you. It would be a bit of an eye opener for your opponents !
