Does this count as an official win even though it wasn't over 90mins?
If so i'm 7 wins out of 7 on my matchday threads....

Just back. Managed to see the whole game in the end but wished I had missed the first 40 minutes! Much better 2nd half. We were totally in control until they scored their flukey goal. You couldn't blame Smith for that one - I think the ball bounced over our defender (Devera?) who should have cut it out. Brilliant goal and brilliant attempts at goal from Easyjet and Risser, totally out of context with the game. One question: were our players wearing trainers? If not, get some fucking studs in your boots lads!

The first half was complete dross with both sides playing shit. We looked much better in the 2nd half while Wimbledon remained absolute shit. We should have had a penalty a minute before Risser's screamer - that was a true beauty of a goal and the Town End are getting spilt rotten with the quality of goals at that end. Didn't really see that much of their goal so can't really comment. Esajas put in a fantastic cameo perfomrance and must have played himself into the squad for Saturday. Deveta played well at the back and Risser did alright in midfield albeit a couple of J Smith like challenges that luckilly missed their players. Coneel and Kerouche were shite and thier movement was not great. The worst player on the pitch today was Rirchie - lazy, greedy, bad passing and he needed to change his boots - preferably onto the right feet. I'd rest him for the Hudders game and give Esajas or Gabilondo a chance. Deveta also looked back to form, won a load of headers. As for the penalties, three great penalties from us. Although i think Smith is shit you've got to give him credit for 3 very good saves from the penalties - they weren't easy saves to make but he made them. Not the best of nights but onwards and upwards.

Thought the 1st half was poor, but we opened up 2nd half and had a good go at them (are we starting to fall into the same trap as last season, waiting until the 2nd half towards the town end to start playing). Great goal from Risser, but he needs to try and be more imaginative in his passes. Much better with 3 stands open.
Want to avoid Southend away next round for loads of reasons. Have been to Roots Hall and seen us lose twice in this competition before. Main thing is to get a home tie, hopefully get a 6000+ crowd as well.
Went up near the Wimbledon fans first half, and Ive rarely been so embaressed to be a Town fan. Nasty chants (not going to say about what), but not only that, out of time and shit lyrics. Complete fuckwittery. Left for the other end of the stand after 30 minutes. Apologies to any Wimbledon fans who heard it all and are reading this. Do enjoy a bit of aggressive football banter, but what a handful of fans were chanting was just scummy.

Can't add much more than has already been said. First half was low quality but quite even. Their keeper made a fantastic save from a Connell (?) header. Smith had nothing more than a couple of routine saves/claims. Second half we weren't in top gear but were a lot lot better. Wimbledon offered no attacking threat whatsoever until their goal. Risser's piledriver was worth the £10, he had a steady game tonight so well done him. Esyjet had an equally good shot, and was unlucky to see it hit the woodwork from long range. He was never man of the match though and he frustrates me! He loves running at defenders which can be good, or bad when Caddis makes his 160th run down the wing and is ignored yet again I don't think the Dons can claim they deserved to go through. The true cost of the night were in potential injuries. Mageria will be out for a week or two, which is a shame for him and a pain for us for Saturday. Ferry and the improved Di Veta also either took knocks or maybe it was cramp.

Saw Brian McDermott in the car park before the game, guessing he was watching Ritchie, who had an appalling game in my opinion, and Esajas came on and changed the game, his pace and skill was troubling their backline and was a breath of fresh air. My man of the math was Risser, although he misplaced a few passes, he broke down the play very well and laid off some nice some passes.

And not only those pathetic chants but also chanting 'your support is fucking shit' when there's nobody in the whole fucking stadium singing for either team is cringeworthy along with some of the other shite they were coming out with

Good second half performance, Wimbledon scoring with their only chance. Really liking the competition for places we've got going on now.
Compared with Oxford's comedy attendance, ours looks quite good in comparison.

You must have been watching a different game from me??? Great goal I will admit that but as in other games when I've seen him this season he went missing for long periods and really didn't do much. Don't get me wrong I really want to like the bloke as his attitude and commitment to the club are fantastic but he really needs to turn these qualities into performances on the pitch.

He was off the pace, similar to the crewe game, almost a carbon copy performance in fact. But fantastic goal nonetheless
