Need to avoid Brentford in the next round, get a home tie, bobs your uncle!

Last 4 teams are Southend, Brentford, Barnet and ourselves. Would ideally like to avoid the first two away. At home we'll have a decent chance against any of those. Hoping for Barnet though to be honest.

Fringe players have done well by the sound of it. Esajas and Risser both sounded like they had good games.

As much as I genuinely like Smithy and want him to do well, all these "Take that Smithy haters" texts can fuck off.

The doubts are about his communication, control of the box and distribution, there has never been any doubt that he's a good shot stopper and no amount of penalty saves changes those issues.

Well done Smithy, but the self righteous texters should engage their brains.

And that's why we should have nothing to fear from a cup run (or, hopefully, runs) this season...there's depth to this squad.  More than we've had in quite a while.  We've seen Esajas, Risser and Gabilondo all come back in to contention of some sort from nowhere recently.

The only thing that perhaps worries me a little is that Di Canio might want to change the line up which has served us so well in the league lately. Needs to keep the same line up injury and suspension permitting obviously.

Especially when considering that the man who is keeping him out of the side has 5 straight clean sheets.

I'd understand your point if the Smith hater texts were actually that well reasoned and they actually tried to back up their opinion.

You know as well as I do they dont. Its just abuse

Both as bad as each other.
