Anyone know how to go about getting replacement copies of these or have done so in the past? I believe you can go about getting them directly from the exam board(s) but from memory my school/college used an infinite number of different exam boards for different subjects and I'll be damned if I can remember which.

Well if you can't remember the exam board then you will have to go back to school and take the exams again!  Good luck!

I'll bite again as this seems to be an ongoing bugbear of yours. Out of interest, to what level were you educated then Nev?

Yes, it is an ongoing bugbear DMR

Not a particularly distinguished A level performance, this was back in the days of all based on final  exams, and I probably didn't give it my best shot.

Got a non-honours degree on a sandwich course at Portsmouth Polytechnic (no toilet wrecking involved) followed by an accountancy qualification, which I studied for off my own bat.

As jonny's link shows, most of the boards that were around when we were sitting exams have now amalgamated so there are only a handful of awarding bodies you would need to contact.  Might be an idea to contact your school, who will very possibly still have a record of which exam boards were being used in which subjects for each year (especially if the teachers concerned are still there).

I don't think I've ever seen my certificates. I didn't even collect them - my Mum or Dad did.

Cheers, ended up calling the school anyway and speaking with someone who knew exactly which subjects were covered by which exam board in 2002 without having to look it up. Either that or she made it up on the spot.

Now to fork out £100 for the certificates... I'll leave the topic open so DMR and neville can continue their "debate"
