why Ian Woan of all people? Don't know the fella personally, but I saw a few of the old school players (Frank Talia etc) around the clubs of Swindon, and they always had a schoolgirl with them

This was after Des Walker's testimonial - didn't he (Des Walker) get nicked that night for D&D as well? Seem to remember reading he'd had a do with his missus when he got in or something and someone called the coppers. I may have got this completely wrong of course, so if so, sorry Des.

Yeah I went to the game. He got arrested. Obviously all enjoyed themselves a bit too much!

Anyone remember scoring direct from a corner in front of the stratton bank years ago? Class in a glass.

We wanna go somewhere else. We're not threatened by people anymore. All our insecurities have evaporated. We're in the clouds now. We're wide open. We're spacemen orbiting the earth. The world looks beautiful from here, man.

"Ian has given a lot to the club and we are supporting him at this moment"
Well that doesn't sound like he has much support at all. Just the way its written i suppose?
I met Woany at a supporters meeting in Hanney last year and he seemed like a nice guy, i'm hoping the allegations aren't true.....
