I'm going to out on a limb here and say this guy sucks at fifa.
That's judging on his arena dribbles before the game though. I'm not watching 13 minutes of that.

Watching the FIFA is one thing... But the fan theme music takes it to wonderful levels. If I'm honest, I've visited the blog a few times since Sonic unleashed this bad boy thread. http://stowngazette.tumblr.com/

Hi,
The American in question here. First, I'm thrilled actual Swindon Town FC supporters have seen a few of the FIFA videos, and it was a real thrill to be interviewed by the BBC about the show. I thought I'd answer a few questions that've come up here:
1. I do not write the tumblr (and I do not know who writes it). I will occasionally give a quote from a player or from me as a manager to the person who writes it, but it's strictly a fan-driven thing.
2. I'm a big football fan (it is correct that I have 1.1 million twitter followers at my REAL account; I have far fewer on the account I use to livetweet football matches, @sportswithjohn). I've supported Liverpool since I was a kid.
3. I am terrible at FIFA.
4. I started playing as Swindon Town because my brother and I were playing FIFA (we have a popular videoblog together; that's why so many people watch the Swoodilypoopers videos) and, while I am terrible, he is even worse than I am. So he was playing as Arsenal and I decided to play as Swindon Town, because I remembered their epic 1969 victory over Arsenal.
Let us now pause and enjoy:
Right, so in the game of FIFA I played with my brother, Swindon again beat Arsenal, and I had so much fun playing with the Swindon Town players that I decided to start a video series in which I would lead a (fictional) version of the team all the way to the top of the premier league.
5. Right, so along the way I've watched the real Swindon several times, and my affection for them grows steadily. I was very pleased by the win in the first round of the FA Cup and look forward to the Colchester United match. Not the best draw, but it's certainly winnable.
-John

Firstly, is this John Green or Bald John Green we're speaking to?!
Secondly, i find myself enjoying your Youtube videos about the swoodlypoopers and I don't really know why! Transfixing...
And finally, the girl who interviewed you on BBC Radio Wiltshire (Marie Lennon) is a very good friend of mine. Was quite an interesting original piece for post-match radio!

That's dull. You are Swindon Town now, sorry but there is no choice on the matter.

Great to have you on the TEF John. Enjoyed the BBC interview. If I remember rightly, you said you hope to come to a Town game some time this season. I'm sure you'll get a warm welcome from most on here if you make yourself known!
